Bishop Laney Sixth Form is proud to announce a new addition to the range of experiences and services that we can provide to ourΒ young people and the community around us.
The opening of our rejuvenated training facilitiesΒ and launch of a commercial salon for Hair and Beauty will provideΒ students with an opportunity to receive expert trainingΒ in a professional environment, supported by fully qualified and experienced staff.
The Salon is now a fully functioning hair and beauty boutique; this fantastic training facility based in the Bishop Laney Skills Centre at Ely CollegeΒ is a realistic working environment where our students develop their skills on paying clients. We are always looking for clients and many whoΒ return to us again and again due to the amazing service our students can offer the community.
Although the services are provided by our students, they are all monitored by trained professionals, ensuring the service clients receive is of the highest standard. To encourage the public to make use of the services, costs are discounted,Β however, our aim is to provide you with the kind of relaxing and enjoyable experience you would expect from any high street salon.
The hairdressing and beauty therapy salonΒ is well equipped and maintained to a highΒ standard. Due to being run by students, The Salon isΒ open during term time only, Monday to Friday. Opening hours are subject to availability so booking in advance will be essential. All welcome;Β we look forward to seeing you at The Salon soon.

PLEASE NOTE: You willΒ be in the capable hands of student trainees who willΒ have varying levels of experience. Our students are fully supervised by our expert educators at every step butΒ if, in the unlikely situation,Β you are not 100% happy with the level of service, please ask to speak to the tutor.
Please allow up to three hours for your cut and finish and up to four hours for your colour and finish. More time may be required depending on length of hair and service.
