Regional Development College Football Programme

 

 

Learn - Train - Play - Work

The Norwich City FC Regional Development College Football Programme in partnership with Bishop Laney Sixth Form in Ely, is an exciting opportunity for young people between the ages of 16-18 to continue their academic, footballing and career development through Norwich City Football Club Regional Development Programme.

A daily training programme is in place, working with UEFA Licensed coaches for 6-8 hours a week.

Students will represent Norwich City FC RDP in the U19 Youth Alliance & English College League and Cup competitions, as well as playing regular Futsal events with partner schemes at the Community Sports Foundation (CSF) in Norfolk. 

Students who enrol on the course receive full training kit (at cost per student) and will be treated as a professional.

As part of this course, further tours, fitness programmes, coaching opportunities and individual target planning will be provided.

Girls College Football Programme

The training programme takes place from 4-6 hours a week whilst students will represent Norwich City FC RDP in the English College League and Cup competitions, aswell as playing regular Futsal events with partner schemes at the Community Sports Foundation (CSF) in Norfolk. 

Students who enrol on the course recieve full training kit (Registration Cost) and will be treated as a professional.

As part of this course, further tours, coaching opportunities and individual target planning will be provided.

Exit Routes Include​

- Coaching routes

- Apprenticeship/career in sport/leisure industry

- University

- American Scholarships

- Potential Progression into the Norwich City FC Ladies, Cambridge United Women & other local clubs.

Boys and Girls Norwich City FC College Football Two-year Programme

- Select Course of Students choice.

-5 GCSEs at A*-C including English Language and Maths

-Two year programme

Exit Routes Include

 -Professional & Semi Professional Football

- Coaching routes

- Apprenticeship/career in sport/leisure industry

- University UK or abroad

 

Boys and Girls Norwich City FC College Football Three-year Programme

- BTEC First in Public Services Level 2

- GCSE Maths, English and ECDL ICT

- 4 GCSEs at grade D including English Language and Maths

- One year in the first instance

Exit Routes Include

- Progression onto Full College Football Programme*

- Professional & Semi-Professional Football

- Coaching routes

- Apprenticeship/career in sport/leisure industry
