The hardest thing about starting maths again in September will be having had such a long break, you will have forgotten a lot of things, they will still be in your head just all muddled up.
To avoid this, it would be a great idea for you to do a little maths beforehand and this is what I suggest:
- Try to complete the Corbet maths 5 a day as often as you can: https://corbettmaths.com/5-a-day/gcse/
- Passport, you can either use the QR code provided or use the web link below each QR code. These links take you to a range of resources/videos (from Corbet maths, hegarty maths, missBsReources and Diagnostic Questions). Watch the videos and complete the tasks, don’t forget to mark them and keep evidence to give your teacher in September along with the completed questions in the passport.
- Mixed Essential skills – complete a few each day, look up topics you struggle with and bring completed sheets in September.
