Year 6 Transition
Making the move from primary school to secondary school is an exciting time, with lots of changes to prepare for; a new timetable, new teachers and even new friends. To help students make the move a little easier we will include all of our information on this page.
During the Spring and Summer terms, Mr Blunt will be working closely with all our feeder primary schools. He will collaborate with the students' current Year 6 teachers and explore the best ways to support the children through the transition process.

Family Information Event - Tuesday 16th June 2026. This will be an online after-college event where practical information about our practices will be shared. This link for this event will be shared in due course.

Meet The House Team Event - Tuesday 23rd OR Thursday 25th June 2026. Each child will be invited to one of these after college face to face events.

In College Transition Days - Wednesday 8th OR Thursday 9th July 2026. One in-college induction day for each student
