Research the key topics below, making notes:
- Nutrition in sport (Role of Macro & Micronutrients linked to sports performance, along with sports drinks and supplements use). Complete a two week food diary, writing down what you eat and what calories, protein and fat are in these
- Anatomy and Physiology (Ensure learn all key muscles, bones along with heart and respiratory system)
- Technology in sport (Create a log of all the different technologies in sport, considering the positive and negative elements i.e wearable technology, VAR, Sports Fitness Apps)
- History of Sport
- Session plans and Risk Assessments (Look on google and download 3 good sports based examples)
- Approaches to testing in Sport, how this can be completed and the risks and ethical considerations
- Research and make notes on the different energy systems: ATP-PC, Glycolytic and Oxidative
