Community Education Courses Overview
Learners should satisfy themselves that the course for which they have enrolled is the one which is most appropriate for their needs. Consultation with tutors can be arranged and further advice on course content is available from the Community Education Office, or come along to the Enrolment Evening.
Course fees are due prior to the course commencing, if you would like to enrol for a course but have a problem with paying fees in advance please speak to the Community Education Team who can help arrange a mutually agreed payment structure.

Reduced fees
It maybe possible to claim reduced fees if you are in receipt of Job Seeker’s Allowance, Income Support, Working Tax Credit, Pension Credit or other recognised means tested benefits. Proof will be required at time of enrolment.
Refunds
Refunds, which may be subject to a Cancellation Fee, will only be available in the following circumstances:
- When the course is cancelled and a suitable alternative cannot be offered
- When a written request for withdrawal is received at least 7 days before the course start date
- If you are forced to withdraw through ill-health or a doctor certifies that you are too unwell to continue.
We reserve the right to not accept an application for enrolment.
