Our aims as a Community College

As a Community College, we aim that everyone will work together

• to provide a range of learning opportunities which enable students and staff to develop their full potential;
• to raise individual achievement by encouragement, by setting realistic targets and by celebrating success ;
• to develop confidence through the mastery of skills and understanding;
• to stimulate learning which will equip each individual for their present and future life;

Our aims as a Specialist Business and Enterprise College

• to raise standards of achievement in the specialist subjects thus raising standards throughout the College even higher;
• to promote a culture where business and enterprise activities pervade the curriculum and the life of the College;
• to widen staff knowledge and understanding of business and enterprise so that links between business and other subjects are identified and developed;
• to enhance our existing links with our community to promote business and enterprise;
• to lead the development of a business and enterprise culture with our family of schools;
• to enhance existing business links through business support and training;
• to reach out to those members of our community where there is little contact with business and enterprise.
