Local Charities

There are several local charitable foundations, such as Needham's Foundation, Bishop Laney's Trust, the Thomas Parson's Trust, Littleport Townlands Trust and the Little Downham Feoffees, to which those families needing Rnancial assistance for educational purposes may apply, e.g. for school trips and activities or for equipment such as musical instruments. The College also operates a “Hardship Fund” to support curriculum entitlements for those in need. Details of those eligible for assistance are available from the Bursar.

The Needhams Foundation is a particular benefactor of the College. We regularly receive large grants to assist in the provision of facilities and equipment for the students, such as the purchase of computer equipment, and for the costs of printing this and our Sixth Form prospectus.
